Fly Time

Several weeks ago when some StoneWater friends came, we were given a once in a life-time treat. The husband and dad of our beautiful guests just happened to fly in to San Diego while they were here with us. He is a pilot for a charter airplane company that flies the rich and famous all over the country. We arrived at the airport, a smaller private area next to the main airport and waited for him to land. While we were waiting, we saw only one rich and famous person, Dana Carvey. (You know, the guy on Saturday Night Live back in the 90's that played Wayne's sidekick on Wayne's World. He didn't look anything like this picture.) After talking with the pilot, Mr. Mann, and looking around the plane, he said that we could ride with him up to Long Beach where he had to reposition for a flight the next morning. We kicked back in the comfy seats, popped in a movie and ate some great snacks. We even had our own flight attendent (shown in the picture below with Mallory and the boys), but we didn't let her wait on us! After a quick flight and smooth landing, we stepped out in Long Beach. Our rental car drove right up to the plane for us. (but we were too quick, we had already gotten off the plane and walked inside before it pulled up). We went out to eat and then drove back to San Diego.

What's in the pictures? Starting at the top: the boys with Mallory and the flight attendant, Caden and Carson watching a movie on the couch, Joey and Carson, Joey sitting in the "jump seat", Corban taking it easy, and the boys in the cockpit.

That's killer! What a cool deal. Misti and I were just discussing on Sunday how we love watching God bless you and your family. You do so much for His kingdom and loves to give back- so awesome to watch from a far.
