Yesterday morning Carson came running into our room yelling with his brothers on his heels. "I pulled my tooth!" The night before he layed in bed wiggling it; asking me to come feel it. After a quick cleanup and a look at the bloody hole, I sent him to get dressed. Two minutes later I hear it again. "I pulled my other tooth!" Sure enough, both of his top front teeth ended up under his pillow last night. The tooth fairy found our new house with no trouble!

Hair Cuts

Last spring, the boys decided that they were not going to cut their hair until Christmas. Christmas came and went, and the hair continued to grow. Nine months later, their hair is cut! For those of you who have been asking when they were going to get haircuts (uncle Jeremy), this picture is for you.

"This is me. My favorite thing to do at the beach is to boogie board. I never knew it would be so fun at San Diego. My house is one of the best things." -Carson's journal entry on Thursday, February 28.The water is cold.
The wind is cold.
When I was finished,
I was cold.

Philippians 1:9-11
Paul's prayer for you and me: I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ's return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation - the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ - for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

Boogie Boys
Today was what we expected California to be like. Clear skies and sunshine. We headed to the beach this afternoon. The boys rode their boogie boards while Joey surfed with Mat (our intern from StoneWater). The water was a chilly 58 degrees, so Corban and I stayed on the beach and played in the sand. The boys had wetsuits on, so they braved the cold water and had a blast. The picture is of the boys playing in the water as the sun was beginning to go down. Big plans have begun this week for Mission Trails Church. Since we are here and are beginning to be settled in, it is time to get to work!

SanDiego - The Move
A video of Joey and the guys moving the family to California. They seemed to fit in a little surfing as well!
Here we go

We made it! Monday afternoon, the boys and I arrived at our new home in San Diego. Then on Tuesday evening, Joey rolled in. With lots of help from our Granbury moving crew (aka StoneWater Church staff) we are here, and all of our stuff is here.
Since we did not have internet access for our last week in Granbury or our first week in San Diego, there are many things that I was unable to write about. Over the next few days I want to fill in some of those gaps.
For those of you who helped us with the move - packing, loading, cleaning, painting, watching kids, cooking...... THANK YOU!! We could not have done it without you!

As we move and get settled in to our new home and culture, we will update you here about our family. This will be the place to see pictures of the boys and to hear about all of the fun we get into. The excitment about our move is growing as we get closer to the big day. Only eight more days in Texas. San Diego - here we come!
